Nursery Manager Level 4

Hello, my name is Suzanne,

I am the Nursery Manager here at KDN and the longest-serving member of staff beginning my time here in February 2003 (when we went under the name of Teddies nursery).

After studying for my A-Levels I went on to train for my BTEC National Diploma in Nursery Nursing and since then have a wide variety of experience of looking after children of all ages in various settings.

I am the DDSL (Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead) for the setting and am fully qualified in Paediatric First Aid.

Why do you like working at KDN?

“I love my job here at KDN, it is such a small dedicated team who I feel work fantastically well together. I work every day but part time hours which fit perfectly around my children.”

What do you do in your spare time?

“As I have two children of my own, spare time is limited but I go to lots of parties (children’s of course!)”

What are some of your interests?

“I like to spend time with my family, read, visit the cinema when I can, and meet with friends.”
